Time passing teaches things only time can teach, but the lessons apply to any age - it's so fantastic that you put that into words for everyone, Vahe. We distract ourselves to death one day at a time. There's always a good reason not to do something. We continuously chose who we are - just pretend we don't. Your truth is such an elixir...
What a powerful reminder that age is just e number, and passion has no deadline. Your words are full of energy and wisdom , it's inspiring to see you still rocking your boat at 70! Keep shining and sharing your fire with the world.❤️
There’s an internet meme, “my politics is whatever this is.” I can’t think of a better example than this.
Imagine a world where our highest aim as a civilization was to allow every human to be creative, to play, to explore, to live and to love. How amazing would that be?
Not realistic you say? Is that not like the mentality of the 16 year old who has already given up?…
First and foremost Happy 70th birthday baron Vahe.
I remember this Tedx talk, it truly inspired by then and it’s something stuck with me ever since, whenever I feel like I’m running out of motivation I go back to it and get inspired again.
This reminded me of a conversation I recently had with one of my classmates who’s in her late 20’s still studying and changing major’s.
Of course society plays a huge role, it pushes you to the elapses that you mentioned. If you’re in your 20’s and still didn’t figure out who you want to be, you’re already a failed person or someone who stayed behind.
To me, “Rock YOUR OWN BOAT” means ignoring society and just doing whatever you wish, on your own terms and expectations.
All the fear, doubt etc.. come from the norms of the society you’re in.
Rocking the boat is a lifelong project even beyond. The fact that you are 70 years old is only a perception
Even if aging factors in, keep it a perception

"The most meaningful things don't come from the finishing. They come from inside the making'"
